The Star Neighbourhood Centre delivers a wide range of childcare and family support services. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment for all the children who attend. We operate a reliable childcare service were parents can engage and consult with the relevant staff of the Centre on any issues involving their child/children.
Playgroup:
The children are aged two rising to three years of age. During the session children are exposed to a range of learning opportunities leading to gaining personal independence and social skills.
A wide range of fun activities are provided and careful supervision and encouragement is given at all times to ensure children are well supported throughout this important stage in their development.
Free play is available throughout the session including outdoor play thereby encouraging imaginative development, language and fine motor skills within a caring environment.
Holiday Play Schemes:
During the summer, Easter and half-term school holidays, the Star Neighbourhood Centre runs holiday play schemes for local children aged 5 – 11 years old, A wide range of activities and outings are organised and places are given out on a first come first serve basis
Out of Schools Club:
The children are collected from their schools by members of staff. We operate a daily fun programme led by children which enables your child to explore, create, investigate, build friendships, learn new skills, craft, discover and have fun!
