Star Neighbourhood Centre's Youth Project...
The Star Youth Project has been delivering issue based youth lead programmes to young people aged 11-21 in the heart of the community since 1990. We currently open 5 nights a week (Mon-Fri) with a range of programmes offered each night by our 3 fully qualified Youth Workers and many volunteers.
As part of our efforts to engage with all the young people in our area the project also delivers outreach each Friday night, you can find us in our 4 zones:

Lower Newlodge and North Queen Street area

Upper Newlodge and Girdwood area

Barricks Area

Carrick Hill area
Some of the projects we have completed include:

International trips, Personal & Social Development, Intergenerational work, Health and wellbeing, Sports/fitness, OCN/ Training , Volunteer Development and Young men/women’s groups.
Star Neighbourhood Centre is constantly looking for ways to grow and develop, responding to the changing needs of our young people. We encourage everyone to get involved with our programmes we offer for young people, and stress for those thinking about it, to get in touch about joining us today!
